Dark Cloud - Georama

Georama- The Georama system is probably the most important part of the game. It is the building system and a big way to progress the story. Using the Atlamillia to store Atla and return the the village you can use the stored Atla to rebuild the villages. When you open the Georama menu you can choose to customize buildings, place some, remove some, or check your status. Most buildings have about 6 slots for people and objects to be placed in them. Some are quite obvious like the house's owner and a lamp or fence, but some require talking to the residents of the house. When you complete a house/building to the people's instructions something happens. It could be something simple like getting an item, or something quite important like an ally or the village's shop opening. With the power of the Atlamillia you can completely rearrange the village not just rebuild, so some residents have requests. Making the villagers happy can be anything from having the house a certain way for the sun to hit a certain window, or have the shop near houses for a large customer base. These things add up to the overall satisfaction of the village and is quite important in the long run. I am sure there is something I am forgetting but that is pretty much an overview of the Georama system.

  1. I think this was one of the reasons I wanted the game, building the town always sounded awesome to me

    1. It is the most important, and I think most fun part.

  2. Sounds like an interesting concept. If only I didn't already have a massive backlog...
