Ruby Sapphire Remakes

I am sure a lot of you have been playing the recently released Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but if you haven't let me tell you they are pretty good. Pokemon Ruby edition was the second Pokemon game I really owned, I remember getting it and the Gameboy Advance for Christmas years ago. The remakes capture the fun newness of the first ones. Updated with changes over the years that enjoy like gaining EXP when capturing Pokemon, and being able to select many Pokemon in the computer boxes, and also with brand new features. The PokeNav Plus has many new features one of which is great for those wanting to complete the Pokedex, it lets you know when you have caught all the Pokemon in a route, and sneak up on Pokemon that can know moves advanced for its level. The features may set these apart from the originals but the story really grabs back to the past. For new players it is a great story, and the small changes and new graphics keeps the game fresh for players of the first versions.

2014

Happy New Year everyone! I know it is a bit late, and I haven't put up a good blog post in quite a while, but that is one of my big goals this year to blog a lot more. And hopefully better, not just ramblings about the plot of a video game  (Not saying there won't be any of that, hopefully just in addition to actual content.)   or my Pokedex (I have been trading a lot of Pokemon over to White 2 to get the complete Dex on there, hopefully I will get that done before The Bank is finished).

I will be doing more with the Holiday Tree, as you can see above, maybe even making my own ornaments. I will be attempting crafts, and various activities like that. And hopefully maintaining more of a presence here than last year.

PR Videos

So one of the many new features in X and Y is the ability to make PR Videos. In Lumiose City there is a Studio that allows you to film these short videos, which star your character and Pokemon if you choose. You can add premade captions and special effects. Before you make them you can change your appearance slightly, like adding fake facial hair, or freckles. The videos are fun little clips that you can share with a passerby over the PSS.

Here is one of mine, with a bit of bad editing to spice it up.

Pokemon X and Y

Pokemon X and Y finally came out last Saturday and I have been playing Y quite a bit since then. I am not super far in because I have been training with one particular part of the game, so I can't give a in depth review of sorts. But I will give my first impressions, the game is crazy. It could be that this is my first 3DS game, but the graphics blew me away.
Here are some pictures comparing Y to White 2, (sorry about the blurry White 2 image) the point being things have improved. The game is bit more complicated, the battles are 3D and the moves are more custom for each Pokemon, I evolved a Pokemon with my 3DS upside-down, and in addition to the bicycle there are roller skates early in the game. Not only are there crazy features/graphics but it like most Pokemon games it is incredibly fun. Let's just say I have spent about 50 hours playing and I only have the first badge. I will talk more about some of the features, and add more photos and maybe video later.

Homestuck Signs

Here are some more of my doodles. These are Zodiac signs and kid sign line art, inspired by Homestuck.

They are not the best, and I know a bit of them need work.

Here are the Aspect doodles, both in color and not.
